About the Cottage

Affectionately known by many returning families as “Granny’s Cottage,” this special retreat began as Mary Thompson’s parents’ cottage and continues to be a favourite for generations of guests. Interior Features: Inside, Granny’s Suite is a two-bedroom cottage featuring a double bed in each bedroom. The recently updated interior is beautifully finished with tongue-and-groove pine, and a large kitchen window offers lovely views of Clayton Lake. Kitchen & Washroom: The fully equipped kitchen includes all your cooking essentials, such as stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, plates, cups, cutlery, pots, and pans. The washroom offers a stand-up shower with both hot and cold running water for your comfort. The water in the cottage is potable and can be drank. Outdoor Amenities: Step outside to enjoy the large deck, featuring a propane BBQ and picnic table. A campfire pit is located on the front lawn - perfect for outdoor meals and relaxing evenings by the fire. Waterfront: This cottage offers a large, uninterrupted area of shoreline behind the cottage, ideal for fishing, or simply finding a quiet spot to dip your toes in the water. Accessibility: Granny's Suite is our most accessible cottage, with level front parking. However, there is a small step onto the front deck and another small step into the front door of the cottage.
