About the Cottage

The sunsets at The Glen are legendary and is what has been bringing families back each summer to this cottage for decades! The Glen cottage is a two bedroom cottage, that features a double bed in one room and a set of bunk beds and two single bed in the other. The cottage is beautifully finished inside with tongue-and-groove pine, and the big window in the kitchen gives you uninterrupted views of beautiful Clayton Lake. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the cooking essentials (e.g., plates, cups, eating utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker). The washroom is fully equipped including a stand up shower, with both hot and cold running water. The cottage has a unique lakefront patio, that extends along the front shoreline of the cottage and hosts a picnic table, propane BBQ and fire pit. Dinners outside on the patio of The Glen while the sun is setting are magical! It cottage is located between two great swimming spots: the sand beach to the left (a short walk on the shore, or a quick swim/float from the cottage patio), and a favourite swimming place locally referred to as “Red Rock” to the right of the cottage. The cottage also has a private dock, perfect for docking your boat or jumping in the water from!
